Grand Teton National Park

Sunrise over the mountains, Grand Teton National Park

The first yellow rays of a summer sunrise touching the foot of the Grand Teton Mountains in Grand Teton National Park

While the Tetons contain some of the oldest rocks in North America, they are the youngest mountains in the Rockies, at a mere 10 million years in age. In this national park, you can float the Snake River, watch bison grazing and sparring against a background of jagged mountains, and "walk through a historic landmark district." Oh, and the photo ops are pretty fantastic, too.
