Grand Teton National Park is an incredible place, rich in wildlife, mountaineering history, pioneer history, and Native American history. And, rightfully so, it’s one of the busiest parks in the National Park System. In 2021 the park saw nearly 4 million visitors, as the public rushed back out into nature after the worst of the Covid pandemic. Last year it counted 2.8 million visitors.

A long fence line of gneiss, limestone, and dolomite rising to nearly 14,000 feet above sea level, the jagged Teton Range in western Wyoming catches your attention every time you see it, not just the first. The linear range that is much of the state's border with Idaho is captivating, whether you're a climber, skier, hiker, or simply one who marvels at nature.

Mormon Row Historic Structures Being Preserved At Grand Teton National Park

The National Park Service and Grand Teton National Park Foundation are working in partnership to preserve and rehabilitate buildings at the historic Roy Chambers Homestead, which is part of the Mormon Row Historic District in Grand Teton National Park. The Mormon Row Road will be closed from north of Ditch Creek to south of the Roy Chambers site through October for renovation activities.
