The delisting of the Yellowstone Grizzly Bear is imminent and this we should celebrate (‘’’’dancing’’’’). Now that our happy dance is complete, we must insure the grizzlies’recovery is permanent. To insure “continuity of achievement,” the grizzlies need a firewall to protect the success of this achievement from human foible.

Rebuilding The Trails Of Grand Teton National Park

The second season of construction for our Inspiring Journeys campaign finished on November 9, 2015. Crews built over 1,300 square feet of stone masonry dry-stacked walls, 224 steps, and 628 lineal feet of single tier wall. Another month has been tacked onto the public comment period for Grand Teton National Park's Moose-Wilson Corridor Draft Comprehensive Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement, a plan so controversial enough to prompt Wyoming's governor to summon the park superintendent to Cheyenne for a closed-door meeting.

In a rebuttal to National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis' contention that packrafting shouldn't be allowed to more waters than presently allowed in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks, the American Packrafting Association is challenging his arguments in a letter of its own to U.S. Rep. Rob Bishop.
