Canyon de Chelly Trails

White House Ruins Trail sign/Kurt Repanshek

There is just one trail in the national monument. The White House Ruins Trail descends about 600 feet (183 m) from the rim to the canyon floor, where you can enjoy the White House Ruin upclose.

It takes about two hours roundtrip to make the hike, according to park staff. There are restrooms at overlook and bottom of trail. No pets are allowed on the trail.
