Lodging At Mammoth Cave National Park

If you are looking to stay overnight within the park, the Lodge at Mammoth Cave, operated by concessionaire ExplorUS and located next to the visitor center, offers over 70 rooms ranging from modern lodge rooms to historic cottages, including 4 ADA-accessible rooms. In 2023, this lodge underwent major renovations, including a new roof, a reconfiguration of the interior lobby, installation of new energy efficient windows, additional building insulation, and a complete facade update.

Sunset Terrace rooms are motel-style and offer 2 queen beds, AC, mini-fridge, coffee maker, satellite television and WiFi, a microwave, and a private bathroom. Each room accommodates up to 5 people. Roll-aways are available. Pets are not allowed. The nightly rate is $142 (excluding taxes and any other fees) for single/double occupancy

Historic hotel cottages offer 1 queen bed, bathroom, and AC only. Maximum occupancy is 2 people and pets are not allowed. The nightly rate is $127 (excluding taxes and any other fees).

Woodland cottages vary in size and price, with maximum occupancy anywhere from 2 to 16 people. All Woodland cottages have bathrooms and are pet friendly. Not offered: AC, mini-fridge, coffee maker, satellite television and WiFi, or microwave. Prices range from $127 - $192 per night (excluding taxes and any other fees), depending upon cottage size choice.

Extra costs: roll-away or crib $10/night, pet fee $30/pet/night (for Woodland cottages only; pets are not allowed in any other rooms), additional person $10/person/night (children 2 years and under are not included in this charge).

No smoking is allowed in any of the rooms.

The lodge also offers dining ranging from a grill serving lunch and dinner, a café open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., a coffee and gift shop, and a camp store.

If all the rooms are taken, there are still options outside the park at nearby communities offering a range of lodging choices from bed-and-breakfast to hotel/motel-style rooms.
