About a 30-minute drive further from the Headquarters Visitor Center, the Haleakalā Visitor Center is perched on the edge of Haleakalā volcano.

A timed-entry summit sunrise reservation is required for each vehicle entering the park from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Beginning April 7, 2021 you may book a reservation up to 60 days in advance and 2 days in advance of the start date. Summit sunrise timed-entry reservations are required through recreation.gov

Fees

Seven-day vehicle access: $30

Seven-day motorcycle access: $25

Seven-day per person access (pedestrians and bicyclists): $15

Haleakalā National Park Annual Pass: $55

American the Beautiful Annual Pass (including Senior Passes): FREE - $80

Organizations And Businesses 

Commercial Sedan (1-6 seats): $30.00 plus, $15.00 per person for road based tour vehicles

Commercial Van (7-15 seats): $45 

Friends Organizations and Cooperating Associations

Friends of Haleakalā National Park assists the park and the National Park Service to achieve the purposes and goals for which they were established: to preserve Haleakalā's unique ecosystems, scenic character, and associated Native Hawaiian cultural and spiritual resources. The Friends  also provide educational, inspirational, and recreational opportunities compatible with preserving the many natural, cultural, and spiritual resources of Haleakalā so as to leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations.

Haleakalā Conservancy serves as the philanthropic partner to Haleakalā National Park to protect the Park's exceptional native ecosystems, cultural resources, and scenic beauty, fostering appreciation and stewardship for present and future generations.
