Barring an unexpected storm, the Tioga Road near the roof of Yosemite National Park will open this coming Monday, May 21, at 9 a.m.

Bus Parking Reservations For Yosemite's Mariposa Grove Of Giant Sequoias
Yosemite National Park announces that parking reservations will be required for all buses over 20 feet in length, including commercial tour buses, non-commercial buses, and mini-buses, to park and visit the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias when it reopens in mid-June.

Yosemite National Park Working To Improve Access Via California 140
Yosemite National Park is launching a pilot program to address traffic congestion along California 140. The program will be tested on the Highway 140 corridor on Thursday, April 26, to Sunday, April 29, and on Thursday, May 3, to Sunday, May 6. This pilot is to test a new way to pace and send vehicles to the Arch Rock Entrance Station, improving visitor safety and access while enhancing the overall visitor experience on busy traffic days.

Floodwaters Draining From Yosemite Valley
Sunshine swept across Yosemite National Park on Sunday as floodwaters drained from the Yosemite Valley, allowing park staff to assess conditions around the iconic setting with plans to reopen it later in the day. At the height of the flooding Saturday, water covered Cooks Meadow and flowed over the Swinging Bridge that spanned the Merced River.

Approaching Storm Prompts Closure Of Yosemite Valley
A particularly moist storm rolling out of the Pacific had Yosemite National Park officials planning to close the Yosemite Valley at 5 p.m. Friday, leading to a cancellation of all lodging and campground reservations there for Friday and Saturday nights.
