The Bridge Over The Virgin River, Zion National Park

A view of the bridge spanning the Virgin River, connecting the park road with the Angels Landing Trail, with tall canyon walls in the background and bare tree branches in Zion National Park

As you cross the bridge over the Virgin River, on your wayup  to Angels Landing, take a moment to stop and watch the mesmerizing flow of water, sometimes clear and inviting, and sometimes muddy and swollen.

Wonderful picture, of course, but I believe this bridge is the one across from Zion Lodge which begins or ends the Emerald Pools trail depending on whether or not you're including the Kayenta.  My understanding is that The Grotto at the next shuttle stop is where the Angel's Landing trail begins.

Hi Kelly - No, this bridge is the one that crosses over from the road and onto the Angels Landing Trail. When you cross the bridge, there is a little side path of sorts to the left of the bridge that allows you a good shot of the bridge and canyon walls.

Thanks, Rebecca.  Good to know
