National Park Mystery Photo 5: Which Way Does The Wind Blow?

There's definitely something nautical involved in this setting, which should help narrow down the location of this Mystery Photo.

But was it taken on the East Coast, the West Coast, the Gulf Coast, or perhaps at one of the Great Lakes?

It looks like the Whalemens Chapel in New Bedford.

Yes, the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park is the NPS unit, Terry. The structure is the "Seamen's Bethel," but you got it. Perhaps this week's photo was a tad too easy to identify?

The sailing ship weathervane rang a bell. Love this feature, this is the first one I've even been close to.

I think there's just a lot of very knowledgeable folks here!

Glad you like it Terry. You can thank Bob Janiskee, it was his brainstorm. Of course, we're going to see if we can't get a little more trivial in the future to keep folks guessing;-)
