National Park Mystery Spot 8: Higher! Higher!

Our mystery spot is a place to stare.
This awful poem will take you there.

Huff and puff. Higher! Higher!
Hang on, guy, where’s the fire?
Doing 360 might let you count seven.
You just never know when you’re that close to heaven.

Eric, mahod, and Rangertoo, the first three to identify the Mystery Spot as Clingmans Dome in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, have been awarded Win, Place, and Show, respectively. Eric came up with the correct answer so quickly that I wondered if this Mystery Spot quiz might be way too easy. Subsequent events put that suspicion to rest, together with any illusions I might have had about being the only bad poet in the Traveler community. Could it be that you are climbing to the top of Mt Rainier where you can then see the seven volcanoes of the Cascade Range?
