National Park Mystery Spot 8: Higher! Higher!

Our mystery spot is a place to stare.
This awful poem will take you there.

Huff and puff. Higher! Higher!
Hang on, guy, where’s the fire?
Doing 360 might let you count seven.
You just never know when you’re that close to heaven.

Be sure to check back with Traveler tomorrow for the answer and an explanation of the clues.

Clangman's Dome - Great Smokey Mountains National Park!

I think I'll guess, but just on a lark
Could it be Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park?
I'm probably wrong. I doubt if that's right
But from Lookout Mountain it's quite a sight.
I hear, from the top, it's an exciting ride
If you get to the bottom by doing a hang glide.

And you thought your poetry was bad.....

No, it's not Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. And yes, your poetry is bad (though not as bad as mine). You are on the correct side of the Rockies, and that's a start.

Mt. Whitney in Sequoia Natl. Park!

Sorry, Lincoln, the mystery spot is not Mount Whitney, nor is it even west of the Rockies. Please try again.

OK, no more bad poetry. How about the Statue of Liberty National Monument. I hear you have to climb it now.
