The Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park will be closed between Boston Store Visitor Center and the Interstate 271 Bridge until June/NPS
Two sections of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail in Ohio’s Cuyahoga Valley National Park will be off limits for six months while crews replace four pedestrian bridges. No detours will be available.
The closures begin December 11 and will continue through June. Closed locations include the section between Boston Store Visitor Center and the Interstate 271 Bridge, and between Deep Lock Quarry and Hunt House.
There will be access both north and south of the Lock 29 Trailhead to the closure locations. There will not be access to Boston Store Visitor Center from Lock 29 Trailhead during the closure.
The multi-purpose Towpath Trail connects to many of the natural and historic sites in the park and to other trails that intersect it along the way. Within the national park, the trail is level and hard-packed for people using wheelchairs, bicycles, and strollers.

Very disappointing... 6 months!?
It says no detour. There must be a way to use streets to get around the closures. I'm riding end to end in May and will need to get around the closures.
Uh, Bill? This was public knowledge in December, and now that it is May you're starting to look for a solution? Getting around closures might help you to meet some very nice Park Police officers.
