Looking For Friends Of The Traveler...

National Parks Traveler is looking for some friends. Producing a multi-media news organization focused on national parks and protected areas is challenging at best, more so when you consider our limited resources.

Many national parks across the country gain invaluable help from their friends groups, and nonprofit groups often have stalwarts who support their missions. At the Traveler, we could use help expanding our park guides, writing about family activities/experiences in the parks, and keeping up with parks around the country that we don't always hear from.

If you are passionate about parks, have some free time to write or record a podcast from a park setting, and want to help Traveler achieve its mission by volunteering to tackle some of these needs, drop me a note at kurt(at)nationalparkstraveler.org.

Unfortunately I don't have any bandwidth at all right now to help write, record or volunteer. However, I would like to put my 2 cents, and my (virtual) shoulder to the wheel, to shout out: HEY ALL OF YOU GOOD PEOPLE WHO READ NATIONAL PARK TRAVELLER --  HELP KURT AND THE GANG AND SEND THEM SOME $$$. IT AINT FREE TO PUT OUT SUCH A HIGH QUALITY JOURNALISTIC PRODUCT EVERY WEEK, RAIN AND SNOW AND SLEET, SMOKE AND FIRE, MONSTERS, ZOMBIES...!!! (you get the idea).
