Across the country, there are many nonprofit organizations that work to support the National Park System. One of those organizations that shoulders a great load is the Western National Parks Association, a nonprofit education partner of the National Park Service.
WNPA supports parks across the West, from Fort Scott National Historic Site in Kansas to Channel Islands National Park off California's coast, developing products, services, and programs that enhance the visitor experience, understanding, and appreciation of national parks. When you visit one of the more than 70 parks that WNPA works with, you'll find educational and interpretive materials made possible through WNPA's work.
During the coming year, WNPA is supporting National Parks Traveler's efforts to expand its coverage of individual parks. Through the association's support, Traveler will be taking a closer look at many of the parks in WNPA's portfolio through words, pictures, and podcasts. You can learn more about WNPA's work, and the parks it works with, at the organization's website.

Congrats on the parnership. I look forward to the expanded coverage.
Great news. I know we'll be receiving top information. Thanks!
How about a feature on Hubbell Trading Post NHS? An intriguing historic site and cultural landscape, a hidden jewel of NPS, a door-opener to the Navajo Nation and one of WNPA's foremost partners, this site appeals to so many visitor interests and deserves more media attention.
Actually, we just assigned that story. We hope to have it for you in December.
TERRIFIC!! and thanks
