Avian Influenza Confirmed As Cause Of Three Condor Mortalities In Arizona

Avian Influenza has been confirmed as the cause of mortality for three California condors found in northern Arizona. The Arizona-Utah population moves throughout northern Arizona and southern Utah, using the landscape within Grand Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Vermillion Cliffs National Monument, the Kaibab Plateau, and surrounding areas.

Fort Raleigh National Historic Site Seeking Public’s Help Solving Recent Crimes

Due to an increase in vandalism, theft and attempted theft of government property at Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, the National Park Service and park staff are seeking assistance from anyone who may have information leading to the identification of suspect(s) or to the safe return of items stolen during the most recent illegal activity.
