The National Park Service recently released a prospectus seeking proposals to operate lodging, food and beverage, and retail services at Peaks of Otter Lodge on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

A $22 million grant from the Federal Highway Administration will help pay for a reconstruction of a 0.7-mile-long segment of the Norris to Golden Gate roadway in Yellowstone National Park.
