Each evening in summer a program that touches on the history of the four presidents whose profiles are carved into stone in the Black Hills of South Dakota is held at Mount Rushmore National Memorial. For many the highlight of the program is when the profiles are lit up with flood lights.

For many years as a child we would drive to Minnesota from California. That was in the early 60's and 70's.
So seeing the summer program stayed forever imprinted as an AWESOME experience. My daughter is traveling back with her friends to go to college in Minnesota. She will be seeing that night program with her friends. I am very excited for her. This is a MUST SEE program for the whole family
