As a professional photographer, I'm always on the lookout for a practical, useable camera bag, with the features I need. And it seems that Incase understands what professional photographers are looking for, or at least what I look for in a
backpack bag
The first thing I need is a small size. I don't need to take every single accessory I own in one bag, just the essentials. This bag is plenty small enough to carry on to a plane without killing your back. My checked clothes might not show up, but my cameras are always with me. This fits me just right, at 20.5" x 11" x 8". And these days I don't pack only my Nikon but at least a handful of action video cameras, namely GoPros, for producing videos of my travels. There's even an integrated Hero mount on the left shoulder strap, plus another optional one that can go on any strap.
I also look for easy access. You'll miss a shot fumbling with some other bags, but this pack has a zip top compartment that fits my DSLR, and extra lenses. Swing one shoulder strap off, bring it to the front, and there it is. There are two ways to get into the main compartment: a right side direct access zippered flap, or the zippered back. Once again, swing it to the front, and it's right in front of you; there's no reason to set it down and miss the action.
This pack is built well and looks durable. I used a large fanny pack for 15 years that went everywhere with me on assignment: on camelback, in helicopters, gliders, motorcycles and airboats. It held up, but eventually just plain wore out. With its ballistic cloth, molded, rubberized top and back, the Action Camera Pro is sleek and it can take a little weather. For more of a storm, there's a removable rain cover.
Inside the main compartment there is a molded foam carrier for two GoPros, and room for a number of inside organizers; up to five, though only one is included with the pack. Incase makes zippered cases for either one, or two, GoPros, with laser-cut compartments, which fit well in the main area. Or you can customize the interior space with dividers; that space comes with a soft lining that's easy on your gear. Each side has straps and bungees for a tripod. There's a carrying handle, and a decent sternum strap, although there is no hip-belt. While there's a place for an iPad, I use the padded slot for my MacBook. This pack will set you back about $200 (Incase.com), but I think this is one pack that is going to be used, and it's going to last.

What Macbook does the padded slot fit?
