National Parks Traveler's Annual Report Notes Large Readership Gains

National Parks Traveler™, which runs on a July 1-June 30 fiscal year, achieved large gains in readership during the just passed fiscal year, according to the nonprofit media organization's annual report.

Readership on the flagship website was up 18.7 percent from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, to 2,007,716. Traveler's Apple News feed attracted more than 1,140,300 readers during the same period.

The news organization's weekly podcast series, which was launched in mid-February 2019, has quickly gained a following. Through June 30, 2020, nearly 93,000 episodes were downloaded, and feedspot.com has ranked it as the No. 1 podcast on national parks.
