Yosemite National Park is one of the most popular parks in the United States, and it also can be one of the most crowded at times, at least in the iconic Yosemite Valley. Because of that congestion, the park has embarked on a path to develop a management plan for handling the crowds.

The National Park Service will have five  entrance fee-free days  in 2023 that provide free admittance to all national parks for everyone.

Voyageurs National Park and park partner Voyageurs Conservancy are recipients of the Open OutDoors for Kids grant from the National Park Foundation to help further the reach of the Voyageurs Classroom Initiative, a joint education program connecting thousands of youths to the national park and encouraging them to recognize Voyageurs as an outdoor classroom.

Almost $11 million in funding from the Great American Outdoors Act will be used for upgrades to the Hurricane Ridge Day Lodge at Olympic National Park.
