Translocation Project Aids Endangered Humpback Chub in Grand Canyon National Park

The Park Service has introduced a satellite population of humpback chub into a Colorado River tributary. Time will tell if this translocation project and related recovery efforts can halt this endangered fish’s slow drift toward extinction.
