With Tropical storm Beryl and its growing fury turning towards the Gulf Coast of Texas, the National Park Service closed Padre Island National Seashore to the public.

U.S. Park Rangers are investigating multiple incidents of destruction of property and vandalism at Cape Cod National Seashore in the area of Herring Cove Beach and the Wood End Marsh trail bike rack in Provincetown, MA between June 15, 2024-present.

“Welcome, family,” captain James Cowpar said as he nosed his boat onto the rocky shore of Athlii Gwaii (Lyell Island) at Hlk'yah G̱awG̱a (Windy Bay) in northern British Columbia. It had taken three hours by ferry, van and boat to get to this Parks Canada place with the triple-barrelled name — Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, National Marine Conservation Area Reserve, and Haida Heritage Site.

During the early hours of Thursday morning July 4, there was a significant law enforcement incident at Canyon Village in the central part of Yellowstone National Park.
