Delaware Water Gap NRA Officials Schedule Public Meetings On Historical Properties Management Plan

A series of informational open house sessions has been scheduled at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in New Jersey and Pennsylvania to update the public on the development of a Historic Properties Management Plan for the park. The sessions are scheduled for January 28-30.

A Victorian Christmas Celebration will be held this Saturday at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in New Jersey from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Millbrook Village buildings decorated in mid- to late-19th century style and open for tours and demonstrations.

More than 350 acres have been added to Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as partial mitigation for expansion of a transmission corridor across the NRA, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and the Middle Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River.
