Jewel Cave National Monument Temporarily Closes Surface Trails

Due to a waterline construction project at Jewel Cave National Monument in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the surface trails are temporarily closed through late June. The 3.5-mile Canyons Trail is closed from the visitor center to the Jewel Cave Historic Area; the Canyons Trail spur from the Roof Trail to the historic cabin is also closed.
