You can book a ride to go walk on the glacier, or, if the thought of a crowded bus doesn’t appeal to you, why not hike a short trail to the toe of the glacier for a little exercise and an expansive view at trail’s end.

Partial Reopening Of Death Valley National Park On October 15

Death Valley National Park will partially reopen on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Visitors will be able enter the park via CA-190 from the west via Lone Pine or from the east via Death Valley Junction. All other park entrances will remain closed.

Maligne Lake in Canada’s Jasper National Park is a very special living entity to them, where the surrounding mountains are physical representations of their ancestors and tiny Spirit Island provides the beating heart for this living lake as well as a venue for their ceremonies and traditions.
